Now this isn't conclusive - especially since these aren't the would be source material - but it could lead to the idea that Coda / R might be a woman and while I would love to think that Davey perceives everyone the same, we do not yet live in a fully pansexual society. (The voice telling you to sacrifice yourself, the woman doing the chores - I think it was a woman - and the crying woman near the end of the prison levels.)
